Michigan Baseball Scores Another Win

The Michigan baseball team continues its winning ways, adding yet another victory to its tally. This time, the team scored a Big Win against its conference rival, Ohio State With the win, Michigan moves to the top of the Conference Standings and looks poised to make a run at the conference title


The University of Michigan Baseball Team won their third game in a row today, defeating the Purdue Boilermakers by a score of 8-4. The win improves the Wolverines’ record to 27-17 on the season, and they now sit atop the Big Ten standings with a 14-6 conference record.

Starting pitcher Tommy Henry was once again dominant on the mound, going seven innings and giving up just two runs while striking out eight batters. The Boilermakers were only able to muster four hits off of Henry, who has now emerged as one of the best pitchers in the country.

Shortstop Cameron Bowers continued his hot hitting, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. Bowers is now hitting .333 on the season and has been one of Michigan’s most consistent hitters all year long.

The Wolverines will look to keep their Winning Streak alive tomorrow as they take on Purdue again. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00pm ET.
