Mifflin baseball has a long and proud tradition of excellence. For over fifty years, Mifflin has fielded some of the best teams in the state, winning multiple championships and producing numerous Major League Baseball players. Today, Mifflin baseball is as strong as ever, with a new generation of players carrying on the tradition of excellence.
The History of Mifflin Baseball
Mifflin baseball is a tradition that dates back to the late 1800s. The sport was first introduced to the school by physical education teacher George Bechtel. Bechtel was a former semi-professional player and he quickly built a reputation as one of the best coaches in the city. His teams were known for their aggressive play and their execute fundamentals.
The program first gained city-wide attention in the early 1900s when Mifflin won three consecutive city championships. The team was led by star pitcher Walter Johnson, who went on to have a Hall of Fame career with the Washington Senators Johnson’s success helped put Mifflin baseball on the map, and the program has been one of the best in the city ever since.
Today, Mifflin baseball is known for its competitive teams and its commitment to developing young players The program has produced numerous Major League Baseball players, including All-Stars Matt Williams and Jody Gerut. Mifflin is also home to one of the finest youth baseball programs in the city, which has produced many of the school’s Top Players over the years.

The Mifflin Baseball Field is a historic Baseball Field located in Mifflin, Pennsylvania. The field was built in 1909 and was once the home of the Mifflinville Phillies, a minor league baseball team that played in the Pennsylvania State League from 1909 to 1912. The field is currently the home of the Mifflinville Little League.
The Mifflin Baseball Field was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 3, 2009.

The Mifflin baseball league has been a tradition of excellence in the St. Louis area for over 50 years. The league is made up of teams from the city’s most prestigious private schools, and it is one of the most competitive youth baseball leagues in the country. Every year, the league’s best players are recruited by major college programs and professional scouts.
