History

The Minas Basketball Association (MBA) was founded in 1993 in the city of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. It is a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to the education and development of Ung Basketball players in Brazil. The MBA is committed to providing a place for young people to learn the game of basketball develop their skills, and compete at a high level.

The MBA has been a pioneer in the development of basketball in Brazil. It was one of the first organizations to offer year-round training and competition for young players The MBA has also been at the forefront of developing relationships with National Basketball organizations. These relationships have been vital in the growth of Brazilian basketball and have helped to put Brazil on the map as a Basketball Power

The MBA has produced many Great players over the years, including current NBA player Tiago Splitter. The MBA has also been a valuable pipeline for Brazilian players who have gone on to play professionally in Europe and Asia.
