Pitching
If you’re attending the Mizzou Baseball Camp you can expect to spend a lot of time working on your pitching. The camp will focus on helping you improve your pitching mechanics and build up your arm strength You’ll also learn how to read batters and select the right pitches to get them out.
Hitting
At Mizzou baseball camp campers will get first-hand experience with what it’s like to be a NCAA Division I baseball player Hitting is one of the most important aspects of the game and our hitting coaches will work with campers of all skill levels to improve their technique. Our curriculum is designed to help campers develop a strong foundation of hitting fundamentals that they can use throughout their career.
Defense

Our coaches will work with each camper to ensure they are getting the most out of their defensive skills. We also design our drills and scrimmages around game-situations so that campers can learn how to properly handle different types of plays.
Base-running
One of the most important aspects of any Game of Baseball is base-running. At Mizzou Baseball Camp we take this skill very seriously. Here, campers will learn how to properly round the bases, time their slides, and avoid getting tagged out. Our coaches will also teach campers when it is appropriate to steal a base and how to read the pitcher in order to get a jump on the play. By the end of camp, campers will have a better understanding of the game of baseball and know how to properly run the bases.
Games
The Mizzou baseball team offers a variety of camp options for kids of all ages. One important thing to know is that the games are played according to ability, not age. So, your 8 year old could be playing with and against 12 year olds. The team is organized into smaller groups according to age and skill level. If you have any questions about what level your child should register for, please call the office and speak with someone on the staff.
Off-field activities
In addition to Mizzou baseball’s on-field program, campers will participate in a variety of off-field activities. These activities are designed to give campers a well-rounded baseball experience and to supplement the skills they learn on the field.
Some off-field activities that campers may participate in are team building exercises, leadership development seminars, and character development workshops. These activities are led by Mizzou baseball staff and emphasize the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and character.

A: Mizzou Baseball Camp will be held from June 1-4.

A: Our camp is open to any and all entrants ages 6-12.
Q: What will campers do at Mizzou Baseball Camp?
Day 1 : Camp check-in will be held from 12:00pm-1:00pm at Taylor Stadium. All campers must check in at Taylor Stadium on Day 1. After check in, campers will receive a tour of the facility and then partake in some skill development and drills with the Mizzou baseball coaching staff. Day 1 will conclude with a camp game.
Day 2 : The second day of camp will feature more skill development in the morning and then split squad games in the afternoon.
Day 3 : On Day 3, we will have an all-camp home run derby followed by sectional play and then all-star games.
Day 4 : The final day of camp will start with skills competitions before leading into the annual parents vs. kids game.
