How the Schedule May Impact the Team
###The 2017-2018 MSU hockey schedule was recently released, and there are a few things to take note of. First and foremost, the team will be facing some stiff competition early on in the season. They start off with a home-and-home series against Union, followed by a road trip to play against Notre Dame Michigan, and Penn State This will be a good test for the team to see where they stand early on in the season.
###In addition, the schedule is back-loaded with conference games. Out of their last 14 games, 12 of them will be against Big Ten opponents. This could be either good or bad for the team, depending on how they re Playing at that point in the season. If they are able to build up some momentum and carry it into those games, they could make a push for the conference title However, if they are struggling at that point in the season, it could be tough to turn things around in time for the conference tournament
###Overall, it looks like it will be an exciting season for MSU Hockey. Be sure to catch them in action at one of their home games at Munn Ice Arena!
