Giorgio Scala is a legend in Italian basketball He coached Napoli from 1969 to 1974, leading the team to its first ever Serie A title. He also coached the Italian national team and is a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame

Ettore Messina is another legendary coach who has had great success with Napoli. He led the team from 1994 to 2001, winning four Serie A titles and two FIBA EuroCups.

Born in Murcia, Spain, Lopez started his professional career with Ucam Murcia of the Liga ACB in 2012. He then moved to Germany, where he signed with Ratiopharm Ulm of the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) in 2014. In his two seasons with Ulm, Lopez helped the team win back-to-back German League championships.

In 2016, Lopez signed with Belgian club Limburg United of the Ethias League. He averaged 11.2 points and 3.7 assists per game in his one season with Limburg.

Lopez then returned to Germany, signing with Alba Berlin of the BBL in 2017. In his one season with Alba, he won another German League championship.

In 2018, Lopezsigned with French club ASVEL Basket of the LNB Pro A. He was named to the All-Star team in his first season with ASVEL.
