Cameron played for five different teams over his 17-year career in the big leagues He was a two-time Gold Glove winner and was named to the All-Star team in 2001. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Academy that will benefit every player that walks through its doors.

Cameron is joined by former MLB pitcher Jackego Gathright, who also serves as the head of pitching development at the Academy. Gathright played eight seasons in the majors, including stops with the Tampa Bay Rays Kansas City Royals Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers He was a member of the Rays’ 2008 World Series team.

Rounding out the staff are hitting coach Tony Beasley, Infield Coach Manny Acta Jr., outfield coach Tommy Shields, catching coach Freddie Rodriguez Jr., mental performance Coach Mike Bradley Jr., and strength & Conditioning Coach Nate Rutledge.
