The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Baseball Championship more commonly known as the College World Series (CWS), is an annual Baseball Tournament that takes place every June in Omaha, Nebraska. The event is hosted by the city’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium and held at TD Ameritrade Park.

The CWS is a double-elimination tournament featuring 16 teams from around the country, eight of which are selected as automatic qualifiers by winning their conference championships The remaining eight teams are chosen by the NCAA Division I Baseball Committee through a process of elimination.

The College World Series has been held in Omaha since 1950, making it the longest-running collegiate sporting event in the city. It is also one of the most popular tourist attractions in Nebraska, with an estimated economic impact of $58 million annually.
