The following are the ovac basketball standings for the week of January 28:
Buckeye Local (10-3, 7-2): The Panthers had a big week, picking up two important conference wins. They first defeated city rival Steubenville Catholic Central then went on the road and knocked off Buckeye 8 foe Martins Ferry.
Meadowbrook (8-3, 5-2): The Colts picked up a Big Win over John Marshall on Tuesday, then knocked off Marietta on Saturday. They now sit in second place in the Conference Standings
Cambridge (8-4, 4-3): The Bobcats had a mixed week, losing to conference foe Barnesville on Tuesday before rebounding with a win over non-conference opponent Zanesville on Saturday.
John Marshall (7-4, 4-3): The Monarchs split their two games this week, defeating Steubenville but falling to Meadowbrook. They now sit in third place in the conference standings.
Barnesville (6-6, 3-4): The Shamrocks had a tough week, losing to conference foe Cambridge on Tuesday before bouncing back with a win over non-conference opponent Linsly on Friday.
