The Samford Bulldogs Basketball team defeated the Alabama A&M Bulldogs in a hard-fought game on Tuesday night. Samford’s leading scorer was junior guard Tyleroney Ragin, who scored 21 points. Guard Josh Davis added 14 points for the Bulldogs, and center Justin Johnson chipped in 12 points. For Alabama A&M, guard Rodney Johnson led the way with 20 points.
The Bulldogs are now 8-5 on the season and will next take on the University Of Montevallo on Saturday.

Samford’s defense was the key to the victory, as they held Alabama A&M to just 38.6% shooting from the field. The Bulldogs also forced 16 turnovers, which they turned into 18 points.
