The history of Tahoma Baseball

Tahoma Baseball is rich in history, dating back to the 1950s. It all started with four men who had a vision for providing a great place for kids to play ball These four men, Chuck Anderson, Jack McMurtry, George Ramseier, and Dick Wilkinson, started the league with just eight teams.

Over the years, Tahoma Baseball has grown tremendously. Today, the league consists of 32 teams and over 550 players! The league is broken up into four divisions (Minor, Major, Junior, and Senior), each with its own playoffs and Championship game

The success of Tahoma Baseball is due in large part to the dedication of its volunteers. Each year, over 100 volunteers give their time to help make Tahoma Baseball a great experience for all involved. From coaching to umpiring to running the snack bar, these dedicated individuals give their time and energy to make sure that Tahoma Baseball is a positive experience for everyone involved.

Tahoma Baseball is a non-profit Youth Sports organization serving the Kent, Covington and Maple Valley areas of Washington State Our programs are designed to give kids of all abilities a chance to play baseball in a safe and fun environment.

We are run by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of local parents and community members who are committed to providing a great baseball experience for our kids. Our Coaching Staff is made up of volunteers who have a passion for the game and a desire to help our kids learn and grow.
