He’s known for his high-energy style and passionate love of the game. Steve Phillips is a former GM of the New York Mets and current ESPN analyst He brings a wealth of experience and insight to the show. Brad Lidge is a former MLB pitcher and World Series champion with the Philadelphia Phillies He now works as an analyst for MLB Network

The baseball season is a long one – 162 games from April to October – and that’s a lot of baseball to keep track of. So we decided to help out the baseball fans out there by starting a podcast where we talk about all the latest news and happenings in the world of baseball.

We’re called Talkin Baseball, and we’re a podcast for baseball fans by Baseball Fans Every week, we’ll be bringing you the latest news, insights and analysis on everything happening in the world of baseball. We’ll also be talking to some of the biggest names in the game, both current players and legends of the sport, to get their take on the latest news and what it all means for the future of the game.

The listeners

Talkin Baseball – The Podcast for baseball fans is a Baseball Podcast started in January of 2020 by two life-Long Baseball fans, Greg Sapp and Tony Nyr. Sapp and Nyr decided to start the podcast after years of talking baseball and being fans of other sports podcasts. The goal of Talkin Baseball is to provide baseball fans with in-depth analysis and commentary on all things baseball

The podcast is released every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during the baseball season with occasional special episodes during the offseason. Sapp and Nyr are joined by a rotating cast of co-hosts, guests, and correspondents to provide listeners with a wide range of perspectives on the Game of Baseball

Talkin Baseball has quickly become one of the most popular baseball podcasts, thanks in large part to the passionate fan base that has grown around the show. Sapp and Nyr are always looking for ways to engage with their listeners and make sure that they are providing the best possible experience for everyone who tunes in.
