Tennessee was led offensively by junior third baseman Andre Lipcius, who had three hits, including a homerun, and three RBI. Freshman second baseman Evan Russell and senior Left fielder Jay Charleston each had two hits for the Volunteers.

On the mound, junior left-hander Garrett Crochet got the start for Tennessee and pitched five innings, giving up two runs on four hits while striking out nine batters. Freshmen right-handers Connor Jones and Will Heflin each pitched an inning of relief and freshman right-hander Jack Leiter closed out the game with a scoreless ninth inning
