Game Analysis

After a disappointing end to their 2017 season, the Uri baseball team is looking to make a comeback in 2018. Despite being ranked lower than several other teams in their conference, the team has already pulled off some impressive wins this season.

One of the biggest reasons for their success so far has been their pitching. In their most recent game against conference rival Yale, Uri starter Timmy Romero struck out eight batters in six innings of work. His performance helped the team to a 3-2 victory.

Uri’s offense has also been on fire lately. In their last three games, they have scored a total of 44 runs. This includes an 18-run outburst against conference foe Brown.

With continued strong play from both their pitchers and hitters, Uri looks like they could be a team to watch out for in the rest of the 2018 season.
