The team’s history and recent successes
Uri Mens Hockey A Team on the Rise
The Uri women’s Hockey Team has come a long way since its humble beginnings in 1996. The team has seen success in recent years qualifying for the postseason in four of the last five years. The team’s rise to prominence has been fueled by its strong work ethic and dedication to improving each year.
The team got its start when a group of passionate students decided to start a club team. The team played its first game against MIT in 1996 and won, 3-2. From there, the team continued to grow and improve. In 2003, the team made its first appearance in the postseason, losing in the semifinals of the ECAC tournament.
The following year, the team made history by reaching the finals of the ECAC tournament. The team ultimately came up short in the Championship game but their run to the finals was an impressive accomplishment. In recent years the team has continued to find success, qualifying for the NCAA tournament in 2015 and 2017.
The Uri women’s Hockey Team is a program on the rise. The team’s hard work and dedication have led to impressive results in recent years and there is no doubt that they will continue to find success in the future.

Uri Womens Hockey A Team on the Rise
The team’s Coaching Staff consists of Head Coach Lisa Church, Associate head coach Melissa Luedtke, and assistant coaches Annie Drew and Jeff Menard. All four women have a wealth of experience playing and coaching at the collegiate level. Coach Church is in her second season as Head Coach of the program, while Coach Luedtke is in her first season as associate Head coach Both coaches Drew and Menard are in their first seasons as Assistant coaches
The team’s training and development programs
The Uri Womens Hockey team has been on the rise in recent years, thanks in part to the team’s training and development programs. These programs help the team to improve their skills and strategies, and to develop new ones.

The University of Rhode Island’s Women’s hockey team is a club team that competes in the American Collegiate Hockey Association The team was founded in 2007 and joined Division 3 of the ACHA in 2012. The team is currently coached by head coach Linda Desautels and Assistant Coach Bill Desautels. The team’s home arena is the Rhode Island Sports Center in Warwick, Rhode Island
The team has seen a lot of success in recent years, winning the ACHA Division 3 National Championship in 2015 and finishing as runners-up in 2016. The team also won the Northeast Collegiate Hockey League regular season championship in both 2015 and 2016.
The URI Women’s hockey team is a rising force in collegiate hockey and one to watch out for in the coming years.
