The Team is Ready to Take the Court

The University of Texas at Austin’s men’s basketball team is ready to take the court! The Longhorns will play their first game of the season on November 5th against Louisiana State University The schedule has been released and can be found online.

The Longhorns are looking to build on their success from last season, when they made it to the NCAA tournament’s Sweet Sixteen This year, the team is hoping to make it even further and possibly win the National Championship

The Uta Basketball Schedule is here and fans are excited for the season! The defending champs will tip-off the season at home against conference foe Arizona State on November 10th. Other notable games include a road trip to take on Gonzaga in December and a home matchup against rivals BYU in January.

season opener is Just Around the Corner

The wait is finally over! The Uta Basketball Schedule has been announced and the Season Opener is just around the corner. Here is a breakdown of the games:

Uta will open the season at home against UC Santa Barbara on November 10th. This will be followed by a road game against Weber State on November 13th. Uta will then have a string of home games including games against Utah State on November 17th, BYU on November 24th, and Idaho State on December 1st.

After a brief road trip to take on Colorado State on December 8th, Uta will return home for four straight games. First up is Montana on December 15th, followed by Denver on December 17th, Oral Roberts on December 19th, and finally Louisiana Tech on December 29th.

The New Year will bring more road games, as Uta takes on San Diego State on January 3rd and UNLV on January 5th. Uta will then have another long stretch of home games starting with San Jose State on January 10th and continuing through February 2nd with matchups against Fresno State New Mexico, and Air Force

February will be a busy month for the team as they play 8 games in total. The first half of the month includes road games at Wyoming (2/9), Nevada (2/14), and Boise State (2/16). Uta will then return home for three straight games against Colorado (2/21), Utah State (2/23), and San Diego State (2/28). The final two games of the season are both away games, as Uta travels to take on New Mexico (3/2) and culminates the regular season at UNLV (3/7).
