The game was close through the first six innings, with Warner Robins holding a slim 2-1 lead. However, they were able to add an insurance run in the seventh and ultimately held on for the win.

This is a big early season win for Warner Robins, who will look to build on it as they continue their quest for a state championship For Vidalia, they will look to regroup and get back on track as they still have aspirations of winning it all as well.

Warner Robins’ pitching too much for Vidalia

Vidalia baseball opened their season at home against Warner Robins on Saturday, February 4th and unfortunately fell to the visitors 9-1. Warner Robins’ pitching was too much for the young Vidalia squad, as they only managed 6 hits off of 3 Warner Robins pitchers. Ty Soto was 1 for 2 with a double and an RBI to lead the way offensively for Vidalia.

The Warner Robins’ bats woke up in a big way on Thursday, as they defeated the Vidalia baseball team by a score of 12-2.

It was a tough loss for Vidalia, who are now 0-1 on the young season. Warner Robins took an early lead and never looked back, as they pounded out 12 hits in the game.

Vidalia will look to Bounce Back from this loss when they take on Wayne County on Friday.

The Vidalia High School Orioles Baseball Team lost their Season Opener to Warner Robins high school by a score of 10-0 on Friday.

The Orioles couldn’t keep up with the Warner Robins offense, which scored four runs in the first inning and six more in the second. Vidalia pitcher Luke Holloman gave up 10 hits and struck out three in four innings of work.

Offensively, the Orioles were led by Zach Henry, who had two hits, and Chase Woods, who drove in a run.

The Indians got off to a slow start, managing just two hits in the first three innings. They were able to get on the board in the bottom of the fourth, thanks to an RBI single by second baseman Corey Kemp, but Warner Robins quickly answered with two runs of their own in the top of the fifth.

From there, the Demons pulled away, adding three more runs in the seventh and eighth innings. The Indians were unable to muster any more offense, and they ultimately fell by a six-run margin.

Kemp was the only Indian with multiple hits in the game, finishing 2-for-4 with one RBI. Starter Brandon Stephens took the loss on the mound, allowing four runs (three earned) in four innings pitched

In a game that Warner Robins never trailed, the Demons got the better of Vidalia 10-5 in the Season Opener for both teams. The Vidalia Indians Baseball Team lost its season opener against the Warner Robins Demons yesterday, 9-3.

Vidalia got off to a slow start, giving up two runs in the first inning. Warner Robins added another run in the top of the second, but Vidalia answered with a run of its own in the bottom of the inning. That would be as close as the Indians would get, however, as Warner Robins added three more runs in the third and fourth innings to put the game out of reach.

The Indian offense was held in check for most of the game by Demons’ pitcher Jake Rogers, who allowed just three hits and one walk while striking out nine over six innings. Vidalia did manage to load the bases with no outs in the bottom of the seventh inning but Warner Robins relief pitcher Cole Whittlesey got out of the jam by inducing a double play and then striking out the final batter to end the game.

With the loss, Vidalia starts its season 0-1. The Indians will look to bounce back tomorrow when they take on Warner Robins again at 5:00 PM.

The Warner Robins Little League team won their season opener against Vidalia on Saturday, March 3. With a final score of 12-2, Warner Robins took an early lead in the first inning and held onto it for the duration of the game.
