The camp instructors
The camp instructors are all college or professional baseball players and/or coaches. They are selected for their teaching ability as well as their baseball knowledge. The ratio of campers to instructors is usually around 10 to 1, so every camper gets plenty of individual attention.
The camp facilities
The camp is set on 300 acres of pristine countryside in Southern Virginia, just a short drive from historic Charlottesville. The baseball facilities are top-notch, with eight lighted, professionally-maintained fields, a dozen batting cages, and a modern clubhouse. But it’s the quality of the instruction that really sets this camp apart.
The camp schedule
The camp will run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday.

The Virginia Baseball Camp offers excellent instruction and competition for campers of all ages. The Virginia Baseball Camp is held every summer in Charlottesville, Virginia. The campers receive top-notch instruction from some of the best college and Professional Baseball coaches in the country. The campers also have the opportunity to compete against other top-notch campers from around the country.
The camp curriculum
The camp curriculum is designed to meet the needs of both the beginning and experienced player. The morning session is devoted to skill development and instruction. Campers will receive individual and small group instruction in all aspects of the game. The afternoon session is devoted to game play. Campers will be placed on teams and will play a minimum of five games during the week.
The camp cost
The camp cost $295 for residents and $345 for non-residents. The cost includes all games, practices, and a camp t-shirt.
