Introduction
The National Football League (NFL) is a professional American football league consisting of 32 teams, divided equally between the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC). The NFL is one of the four major North American professional sports leagues, the highest professional level of American football in the world.
The NFL was formed in 1920 as the American Professional Football Association (APFA) before renaming itself the National Football League for the 1922 season. The NFL agreed to merge with the American Football League (AFL) in 1966, and the first Super Bowl was held at the end of that season; the merger was completed in 1970. Today, the NFL has the highest average attendance (67,591) of any professional sports league in the world and is the most popular sports league in the United States. The Super Bowl is among the biggest club sporting events in both attendance and television viewership in most nations around
New England Patriots

-Finished with a 13-3 record in the 2017 regular season, earning the top seed in the AFC playoffs.
-Won their fifth Super Bowl in franchise history, defeating the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 in overtime.

Los Angeles Rams
The Los Angeles Rams are a professional American football team that compete in the National Football League (NFL). The Rams franchise was founded in 1936 as the Cleveland Rams in the short-lived second American Football League before joining the NFL the next year. In 1946, the franchise moved to Los Angeles. The Rams franchise remained in the metro area until 1994, when they moved to St. Louis, and were known as the St. Louis Rams from 1995 to 2015. The Rams franchise returned to Los Angeles in 2016, re-joining the NFC West division.
The Rams play their home games at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, which they shared with fellow professional football team, the Los Angeles Chargers from 2017 until 2019. The Chargers returned to their previous home stadium, Dignity Health Sports Park (formally StubHub Center) in Carson for 2020 and will share SoFi Stadium with the Rams again beginning in 2021.
The club is owned by Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, with Geoff Reyonolds as chief operating officer and Kevin Demoff as chief executive officer.
New Orleans Saints
The New Orleans Saints are a professional American football team based in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Saints currently compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference (NFC) South division. The team was founded by John W. Mecom Jr., David Dixon, and the city of New Orleans on November 1, 1966. The Saints began play in Tulane Stadium in 1967.
The name “Saints” is an allusion to November 1 being All Saints Day in the Catholic faith, as well as to the fact that the franchise was founded on that date. It also refers to the events surrounding Hurricane Katrina in 2005, which caused severe damage to New Orleans and much of the Gulf Coast region. The Superdome was used as an emergency shelter for displaced residents. The team’s primary colors are old gold and black; their logo is a simplified depiction of aFleur-de-lis. They played their home games in Tulane Stadium through the 1974 NFL season.[9]
The following year, they began a new era by moving to the new Louisiana Superdome (now known as Mercedes-Benz Superdome). For most of their first 20 years, the Saints were barely competitive, only getting to .500 twice. In 1987, they finished 12–3—their first-ever winning season—and qualified for the NFC playoffs for the first time in franchise history.[10] In 2005, Hurricane Katrina devastated much of the Gulf Coast region; albeit fortunate not to have any players seriously injured or killed,[11] and resulting totaled damages forced relocation of all home games that season to San Antonio’s Alamodome while reconstruction took place at then-Tulane Stadium; whereupon they returned for part of 2006 before finally returning full-time for good by 2007 back into then rechristened Mercedes-Benz Superdome under new ownership.[12][13][14] The facility received significant upgrades prior to hosting Super Bowl XLVII on February 3, 2013.[15]
Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs are the top team in the NFL according to our power rankings heading into Week 10 of the 2019 season.
The Chiefs have been the best team in the league for most of the season, and they continue to get better as they get healthy. Kansas City’s offense is among the best in the NFL, and its defense is good enough to make them a complete team.
The Chiefs have won eight consecutive games and are currently on a bye week. They will next take on the Oakland Raiders in Week 11.
Los Angeles Chargers
1. Los Angeles Chargers – The Chargers have the best offensive playmaker in Keenan Allen, one of the brightest young minds in head coach Anthony Lynn and arguably the best pass-rushing tandem in Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram. They also prevented Tom Brady from winning a sixth Super Bowl by outplaying him and the Patriots in the AFC divisional round last season.
2. New England Patriots – Even though they lost a number of key players this offseason, the Patriots are still the team to beat in the AFC East. They have the best quarterback of all time in Tom Brady and a head coach in Bill Belichick who knows how to put his team in a position to win.
3. Kansas City Chiefs – The Chiefs were one of the most exciting teams to watch last season thanks to their high-powered offense led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes is only going to get better, which is bad news for the rest of the league.
4. Los Angeles Rams – The Rams are coming off a Super Bowl appearance and have one of the most talented rosters in the league. They have a dynamic young quarterback in Jared Goff, an elite running back in Todd Gurley and a top-notch defense led by Aaron Donald.
5. Chicago Bears – The Bears were one of the biggest surprise teams last season, winning their division and making the playoffs for the first time since 2010. They have a talented young core that includes quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, running back Jordan Howard and linebacker Khalil Mack.
6. New Orleans Saints – The Saints are always a tough team to beat thanks to their high-powered offense led by quarterback Drew Brees and head coach Sean Payton. They also have one of the best defenses in the league, led by defensive end Cameron Jordan and cornerback Marshon Lattimore.
7 . Indianapolis Colts – The Colts are another team on the rise thanks to their young franchise quarterback Andrew Luck. Luck missed all of last season with a shoulder injury but is healthy now and ready to lead his team back to contention in 2019. The Colts also added some much-needed help on defense this offseason with linebacker Darius Leonard and defensive end Justin Houston.
8 . Dallas Cowboys – The Cowboys are always a threat thanks to their strong offensive line, talented running back Ezekiel Elliott and playmaking wide receiver Amari Cooper. They also have one of the best defenses in the league, led by defensive end Demarcus Lawrence and linebacker Jaylon Smith
Chicago Bears
The Chicago Bears are a professional American football team based in Chicago, Illinois. They are members of the National Football League (NFL) as a part of the NFC North division. The Bears compete in the National Football Conference (NFC) against other teams such as the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and Minnesota Vikings.
Baltimore Ravens
1. Baltimore Ravens – The reigning Super Bowl Champions have reloaded for another run at the Lombardi Trophy. While they did lose some key pieces from their championship team, they replaced them with some very talented players. Their defense is still one of the best in the league and their offense has the potential to be one of the most explosive in the NFL.
2. San Francisco 49ers – The 49ers are coming off a disappointing loss in the Super Bowl, but they are still one of the best teams in the league. They have a great defense and an offense that is led by one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, Jimmy Garoppolo.
3. New Orleans Saints – The Saints are coming off a disappointing loss in the NFC Championship game, but they are still one of the best teams in the NFC. They have a great quarterback in Drew Brees and a very talented supporting cast on both sides of the ball.
4. New England Patriots – The Patriots are coming off a disappointing loss in the Super Bowl, but they are still one of the best teams in the NFL. They have a great quarterback in Tom Brady and a very talented supporting cast on both sides of the ball.
5. Los Angeles Rams – The Rams are coming off a disappointing loss in the Super Bowl, but they are still one of the best teams in the NFL. They have a great quarterback in Jared Goff and a very talented supporting cast on both sides of
Houston Texans
The Houston Texans are a professional American football team based in Houston, Texas. The Texans compete in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference South division. The team plays its home games at NRG Stadium, a stadium it shares with the National Basketball Association’s Houston Rockets. The Texans have won two AFC championships (in 2011 and 2012), but they have never appeared in the Super Bowl.
Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks are a professional American football franchise based in Seattle, Washington. The Seahawks compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference (NFC) West division. They joined the NFL in 1976 as an expansion team, along with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Seahawks are owned by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen and are currently coached by Pete Carroll. Since 2002, the Seahawks have played their home games at CenturyLink Field, located south of downtown Seattle. The Seahawks previously played home games in the Kingdome (1976–1999) and Husky Stadium (1994, 2000–2001).
Seattle is one of three teams to have played in both the American Football Conference (AFC) and the NFC Championship Games. They have appeared in three Super Bowls: losing 21–10 to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XL, defeating the Denver Broncos 43–8 for their first championship in Super Bowl XLVIII, and losing 28–24 to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX. As of 2017, the Seahawks have recorded nine seasons with a winning percentage above .500, seven seasons with double digit wins, and had a streak of six seasons from 2003 to 2009 where they recorded at least 10 wins and made the playoffs.[8]
