The television network of the Southeastern Conference, SEC Network, launched on August 14, 2014 under a 20-year agreement with ESPN. The network televises over 45 SEC football games, 100 men’s basketball games, 60 women’s basketball games, 75 baseball games, and other live events on a weekly basis during its traditional fall sports season. As of February 2015, SEC Network is available to approximately 50 million households in the United States that have access to pay television providers such as Comcast, Dish Network, AT&T U-verse, Verizon FiOS, Charter Communications andGoogle Fiber.
ESPN
The Southeastern Conference (SEC) is a collegiate athletic conference which operates in the southeastern United States. It is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. The SEC participates in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I as a member of the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS).
The conference is divided into two divisions: East and West. The SEC has 14 member institutions located within the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
