What Channel Is The NBA Draft On?
The NBA draft is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year for basketball fans. But what channel is it on? Here’s everything you need to know.
ESPN
The 2020 NBA Draft will be televised on ESPN and ESPN2. The first round will be airs on ESPN at 7:00 p.m. ET on October 16, 2020, followed by the second round on ESPN2 at 8:00 p.m. ET. The NBA Draft will also be available to stream live on the ESPN App.
TV Channel
ESPN is televising the NBA draft Thursday night beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
The network will have a two-hour live draft show leading up to the start of the first round at 8:00 p.m. ET.
ESPN draft analyst Jay Bilas and host Rece Davis will be on hand at the ESPN studios in Bristol, Conn., to provide analysis and commentary during the entire two-hour telecast.
Mark Jones will be reporting from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., where he will provide updates and conduct interviews with lottery picks and draftees following their selection. Reporting from various locations around the country will be Jeff Goodman, Jerry Meyer and Andy Katz. NBA front office insider Amin Elhassan will offer analysis throughout the night from ESPN headquarters in Bristol, Conn., as well.
Online Streaming
The 2019 NBA draft will be held on June 20 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The first round will begin at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN, with the second and third rounds following at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
You can also stream the draft live on WatchESPN.com or the WatchESPN app, which you can access with your cable or satellite TV login information. If you don’t have cable, you can watch the draft live online through Sling TV, an online streaming service that provides access to a handful of channels (including ESPN) for a monthly fee .
TNT
The 2020 NBA Draft will be shown on Thursday, November 18th at 7pm ET live on TNT. This will be the first time in NBA Draft history that the entire draft will be shown on one network. All rounds will be shown live on TNT, with the first and second rounds airing on Thursday, November 18th and the third round airing on Friday, November 19th.
