What Teams Have Clinched The NFL Playoffs?

The NFL playoffs are in full swing, and there have been some great games so far. But which teams have clinched a spot in the playoffs? Here’s a look at the current standings.

AFC

The Baltimore Ravens have clinched the AFC North division title and a spot in the AFC playoffs. The Ravens (10-2) clinched the division when the Pittsburgh Steelers (8-4) lost to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night. Baltimore can still earn the No. 1 seed in the AFC and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs if it wins out and the New England Patriots (10-2) lose one of their final four games.

Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens have clinched the AFC North division title and a spot in the NFL playoffs. They will host a playoff game on January 6 or 7.

New England Patriots

The New England Patriots have clinched the AFC East division title for the tenth consecutive season. The Patriots also clinched a first-round bye in the playoffs.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs have clinched the AFC, meaning they have officially qualified for the NFL playoffs. As the current AFC champions, they will have home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Chiefs have clinched a first-round bye and will host the lowest remaining seed in the divisional round. In the conference championship, they will host the AFC’s highest remaining seed. If they advance to the Super Bowl, they will play the NFC champions.

Houston Texans

The Houston Texans have clinched the AFC South division title and will be headed to the playoffs for the fourth consecutive season. They clinched the division with a 24-21 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. The Texans will enter the playoffs as the No. 4 seed and will host a Wild Card game next weekend.

NFC

As we head into week 17, the playoff picture is pretty much set in the NFC. The Green Bay Packers have clinched the #1 seed and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. The New Orleans Saints have clinched the #2 seed. The Seattle Seahawks have clinched the #3 seed and will host the #6 seed Minnesota Vikings in the wild card round.

San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers have clinched the National Football Conference (NFC) West Division title and a spot in the NFL playoffs. The 49ers, who have a 13-2 record, will host a playoff game at Levi’s Stadium on January 12 or 13. The 49ers are currently the top-seeded team in the NFC and would earn a first-round bye if they win their Week 17 game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers have clinched the NFC North division title and a spot in the NFL playoffs. The Packers (13-3) will be the No. 2 seed in the NFC and will host a wild-card game next weekend.

The Seattle Seahawks have clinched the #1 seed in the NFC and will have home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs. They will play the lowest remaining seed in the divisional round.
