2K20 MyCAREER

One of the most popular modes in NBA 2K20 is back and better than ever. 2K20 MyCAREER mode puts you in the shoes of a rising NBA star. You’ll start off in the NBA G League and work your way up to the NBA. You’ll be able to create your own player and choose your own story. You’ll also be able to play with or against other players around the world in the all-new MyPLAYER Nation.

New storyline

This year’s MyCAREER story is called “The Way Back,” and it follows your MyPLAYER character as he tries to make it back to the NBA after being out of the league for a few years. The story will be told through cutscenes featuring real-life NBA players, and you’ll even get to play with some of them during your journey.

You’ll start your career in China, and from there, you’ll eventually make your way back to the United States. The story will conclude with your character trying to earn a spot on an NBA roster. Along the way, you’ll also be able to improve your MyPLAYER through the new MyPOINTS system.

New voice acting

This year, 2K has decided to do away with generic voiceovers in MyCAREER and replace them with Quavo and Saweetie as the new player characters. Not only are they better than the previous ones, but they also add a lot of flavor to the game. The two of them are actually pretty good at trash talking, which is something that was sorely lacking in previous years. There are also a lot of cutscenes featuring the two of them, which is yet another improvement.

2K20 MyGM

2K20 MyGM is a story-based mode that allows the player to be the general manager of an NBA team. The mode includes cutscenes, dialogue choices, and branching story lines. The player will also be able to make decisions that will affect the team’s success.

With the addition of player archetypes, there is now more control over how players develop in MyLEAGUE Online and MyGM/MyLEAGUE. Visual Improvements

The game looks fantastic. The player models look fantastic, the lighting and textures look great. The courts look amazing. There have been some visual improvements made to the MyTEAM mode as well.

New animations

The new animations are the most immediately noticeable change in NBA 2K20. These include things like improved dribbling animations, new shooting animations, and more. The result is a game that looks and feels much more realistic than previous iterations. In addition, the new animations make the game more fun to play, as they add an additional layer of strategy to the already-complex gameplay.

New lighting

One of the most immediately noticeable changes in NBA 2K20 is the lighting, which has been completely revamped. The game now uses high-dynamic range lighting (HDR), which means that the lights and colors are more realistic and true to life. This makes for a much more immersive experience, as you can really see the difference in the way that sunlight reflects off of different players’ skin tones and uniforms.

The new lighting also affects the way that shadows are cast, making them look softer and more realistic. This is especially apparent when you’re playing in an outdoor arena, as the sun will move across the court as the game progresses.

Overall, the visual improvements in NBA 2K20 are quite striking, and they really add to the immersion factor of the game.

Audio Improvements

On NBA 2K20, you’ll notice some big improvements to the game’s audio. One of the most noticeable changes is the inclusion of more realistic crowd noises. You’ll also hear new player-specific audio, such as when a star player is getting hot or when an opponent is trash-talking. These audio improvements help to create a more immersive and realistic experience.

New soundtrack

We’ve added over 50 new songs to the soundtrack, featuring a mix of current hits and classic throwbacks. You can check out the full track list below.

As always, you’ll be able to customize the in-game music to your liking, including the ability to turn off songs you don’t want to hear. You can also choose to have the soundtrack play through your personal music library on your console or mobile device.

New sound effects

We’ve made several changes and additions to the audio in NBA 2K20.
