Just one month after his release from prison, NBA Youngboy was arrested again on charges of kidnapping and aggravated assault stemming from an incident in which he allegedly beat and restrained his girlfriend inside a hotel room. He was released on $75,000 bond and ordered to have no contact with the victim.
In September 2018, NBA Youngboy was arrested yet again on charges of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder stemming from a drive-by shooting that took place in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in April 2018. The victims in this shooting were believed to be rival gang members. NBA Youngboy is currently awaiting trial for these charges and faces a possible sentence of life in prison if convicted.
