When is the release date?
Although an exact date hasn’t been announced yet, we do know that NBA 2K23 will be released in the fall of 2021. This is based on the fact that the previous two games in the series were released in September, so it’s likely that NBA 2K23 will follow suit. As soon as an official release date is announced, we will update this article. NBA 2K23 will be available on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
What is the price?
It’s hard to say how much NBA 2K23 will cost when it comes out, as the price of video games can fluctuate quite a bit. However, if we look at the price of previous NBA 2K games, we can get an idea of what to expect. For example, NBA 2K22 cost $59.99 when it was released. So, it’s safe to say that NBA 2K23 will probably cost around the same amount.
What are the new features?
2K has yet to officially announce NBA 2K23, but based on the release schedule for previous games in the series, we expect it to launch in September or October of 2021. That said, with the COVID-19 pandemic causing delays in the production of many video games, it’s possible that NBA 2K23 could be pushed back to November or December. As soon as 2K announces an official release date for NBA 2K23, we’ll be sure to update this article.
In the meantime, there’s been no word on what new features or gameplay changes NBA 2K23 will bring to the series. However, based on fan feedback and recent trends in the sports gaming genre, we have a few ideas of what we’d like to see.
We’d love to see 2K finally add an official story mode to NBA 2K23. While The Neighbourhood was a step in the right direction, it didn’t quite capture the magic of story modes like those found in Madden and FIFA. We’re hoping thatNBA 2K23 will give us a more traditional story mode experience, following our MyPlayer through their career as they try to make it to the NBA.
Another big change we’d like to see is an overhaul of MyTEAM. For those unfamiliar with it, MyTEAM is NBA 2K’s version of a collectible card game. Players can open booster packs (which cost real money) and put together a team of current and past NBA players to compete against other players online. It’s a lot of fun, but it can also be very frustrating and time-consuming. We hope that NBA 2K23 will make some significant changes to MyTEAM that will make it more fun and accessible for casual players.
