Tom Brady

He had a stellar college career with the Purdue Boilermakers, setting numerous NCAA records, and was selected by the San Diego Chargers with the first pick in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft. Brees’s five NFL seasons with the Chargers were mostly disappointing, but he began to show glimpses of his potential during his final three years there. He joined the Saints in 2006 and has since led them to nine playoff appearances, five NFC South division championships, four NFC Championship Games, and Super Bowl XLIV, which they won against the Indianapolis Colts.

During his time with the Saints, Brees has established himself as one of the most prolific quarterbacks in NFL history. He holds numerous NFL records including career passing yards (77,416), career passing touchdowns (547), single-season passing yards (5,476 in 2011), single-season passing touchdowns (46 in 2013), and is one of only two quarterbacks to have thrown for over 5,000 yards in a season seven times (the other being Peyton Manning). He’s also been selected to eleven Pro Bowls and was named AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year three times.
