Dwyane Wade
Dwyane Wade is an American professional basketball player who played most of his 16-year career in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Wade is a ten-time NBA All-Star and was the 2006 NBA Finals MVP. He played college basketball at Marquette University. He was drafted fifth overall in the 2003 NBA draft by the Miami Heat.
In his third season, Wade led the Heat to their first NBA Championship in franchise history and was named the 2006 Finals MVP. At the 2008 Summer Olympics, Wade represented the United States men’s national basketball team, winning a gold medal. In 2010, he was named the NBA All-Star Game MVP and led the Heat to their second NBA Championship. In 2012, he earned his first Olympic medal as part of Team USA’s gold medal-winning team play.
Wade has played for three teams in his NBA career, spending his first 12 seasons with the Miami Heat, then playing for the Chicago Bulls (2016–2017) and Cleveland Cavaliers (2017–2018). He also played for Team USA in 2006 FIBA World Championship and 2010 FIBA World Championship.
