Who Is In The Wild Card NFL 2021?

AFC

The NFL’s AFC playoff bracket is set, with the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers clinching the divisional titles. The wild-card round features the Indianapolis Colts at the Bills, the Cleveland Browns at the Steelers and the Miami Dolphins at the Ravens. The Chiefs earned a first-round bye as the AFC’s top seed.

Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens are a professional American football team based in Baltimore, Maryland. They compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the American Football Conference (AFC) North division. The Ravens were established in 1996, when Art Modell, who was then the owner of the Cleveland Browns, announced plans to relocate the franchise from Cleveland to Baltimore in 1996. As part of a settlement between Modell, the city of Cleveland, and the other NFL teams, Modell was required to leave the Browns’ name, colors and history in Cleveland for a replacement team that would take over the Browns’ position in the league. The Ravens have qualified for the NFL playoffs 11 times since 2000, with two Super Bowl wins (Super Bowl XXXV and XLVII), two AFC Championship titles (2000 and 2012), 15 playoff victories (9th all-time), and are currently the only team in NFL history to hold a perfect record in multiple Super Bowl appearances.

The Bills compete in the National Football League (NFL), as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) East division. The Bills conduct summer training camp at St. John Fisher College in Pittsford, New York, an eastern suburb of Rochester.

The Bills began play as an original franchise of the American Football League (AFL) in 1960. They joined the NFL as part of the AFL–NFL merger for the 1970 season. Along with the Baltimore Colts, Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers, they are one of four current teams that were established with the AFL. The club has appeared in four Super Bowls—XXV (1991), XXVI (1992), XXVII (1993), and XXVIII (1994)—but lost each game. They have yet to make it to or win a conference championship game since winning their lone AFC championship during the 1965 season when they were still part of the AFL—thus currently having the longest active championship drought in either conference and their Divisional Round playoff appearance this past season was their first since 1995 which is also currently tied for their longest active playoff drought along with Seattle Seahawks who haven’t made it back to playoffs since 2016 despite winning their division 3 times and making it 5 times over those 6 years whileh Buffalo has only made it 3 times all while never winning their division or having a losing record dating back to 1999 all while playing In 1 of if not then probably even THE most competitive division almost every single year as almost always all 4 teams usually have winning records more often than not and 3 out of 4 teams usually make playoffs more often than not with Jets being 1st AFC East team to make playoffs 3 years In a row recently(however they did have losing record In 2 out those 3 years) since Pats did It from 2010-2012 and then again from 2014-2017(Won SB both times).

NFC

The NFC playoff race is tight heading into the final weeks of the season. The Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints, and Dallas Cowboys are all fighting for the two wild card spots. The final weeks of the season will be critical for these teams.

Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals clinched their first playoff berth since 2015 with a Week 17 victory over the Rams. They’ll be the NFC’s first wild-card team in 2021.

The Cardinals entered Week 17 with a chance to earn the NFC West title, but they ultimately came up short against the Rams. They’ll still make the playoffs as a wild-card team, however, and will be one of the most dangerous teams in the NFC.

The Cardinals have one of the best offenses in the NFL, led by quarterback Kyler Murray. Murray has been one of the most electric players in the league this season, and he has a talented group of weapons around him. Wide receivers DeAndre Hopkins and Larry Fitzgerald are both future Hall of Famers, and running back Kenyan Drake has been a breakout star this season.

The Cardinals’ defense has also been quite good this season, ranking ninth in DVOA. Defensive end Chandler Jones is one of the best pass rushers in the NFL, and linebacker Markus Golden has also been a force off the edge. The Cardinals secondary has been susceptible to big plays at times this season, but it’s still a unit that can make life difficult for opposing quarterbacks.

The Cardinals will have their work cut out for them in the playoffs, but they have all the makings of a team that could make a deep run.

Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears are a professional American football team based in Chicago, Illinois. They compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference (NFC) North division. The Bears have won nine NFL Championships, including one Super Bowl, and hold the NFL record for the most enshrinements in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the most retired jersey numbers. The Bears have also recorded more victories than any other NFL franchise.

Dallas Cowboys

The NFC wild card race is going to come down to the final week of the season, with a handful of teams still in contention. The Dallas Cowboys are currently in the lead for the first wild card spot, but they are closely followed by the Seattle Seahawks, Minnesota Vikings, and the Los Angeles Rams. Below is a look at each team’s chances of making the playoffs.

Dallas Cowboys (7-6)
The Cowboys have lost three of their last four games, but they still control their own destiny. If they win their final two games against the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants, they will clinch a playoff berth. However, if they lose one of those games, they will need some help from other teams in order to make the playoffs.

Seattle Seahawks (9-4)
The Seahawks have clinched a playoff berth, but they are still fighting for a first-round bye. They need to win their final three games and have either the Green Bay Packers or New Orleans Saints lose one game in order to earn a bye.

Minnesota Vikings (8-5)
The Vikings are currently on the outside looking in, but they control their own destiny. If they win their final three games against the Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears, and Green Bay Packers, they will clinch a playoff spot. However, if they lose one of those games, they will need some help from other teams in order to make the playoffs.

Los Angeles Rams (9-4)
The Rams have clinched a playoff berth, but they are still fighting for a first-round bye. They need to win their final three games and have either the Green Bay Packers or New Orleans Saints lose one game in order to earn a bye.

Detroit Lions

As of January 3, 2021, the Detroit Lions are in the running for a Wild Card spot in the NFL playoffs.

Green Bay Packers

With a 13-3 record, the Packers claimed the NFC’s No. 1 seed and will have home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. They’ll face the eighth-seeded Los Angeles Rams (10-6) in an NFC divisional round game at Lambeau Field on Saturday, Jan. 16.

Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams are a professional American football team who will be playing in the Wild Card NFL 2021. The team is based in Los Angeles, California and they play their home games at SoFi Stadium. They are currently members of the National Football Conference West Division.

Minnesota Vikings

As the NFC’s #6 seed, the Minnesota Vikings will travel to play the #3 seed, the New Orleans Saints, in the first round of the 2021 NFL playoffs. This will be a rematch of last year’s wild card game, which the Saints won 26-20 in overtime.

New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints are one of the most successful teams in recent NFL history. They have won the Super Bowl, been to multiple Conference Championship games, and have a great owner in Tom Benson. The Saints also have a great coach in Sean Payton, who has led the team to many successes. The Saints have a talented roster and are always a threat to make a deep run in the playoffs.

San Francisco 49ers

Winning the NFC West with a dominant 13–3 record, the San Francisco 49ers earned the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs and home-field advantage throughout the conference playoffs. They defeated the Minnesota Vikings 27–10 in the Divisional Round and won their first conference championship since 2012 by defeating the Green Bay Packers 37–20 in the NFC Championship.

Wild Card NFL 2021

The NFL’s Wild Card Weekend always seems to be one of the best weekends of the year. It’s the start of the playoffs, and anything can happen. This year’s Wild Card Weekend features some great matchups, and we can’t wait to see what happens.

Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks are a professional American football team based in Seattle. The Seahawks compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference West division. They joined the NFL in 1976 as an expansion team along with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Seahawks are owned by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen and are currently coached by Pete Carroll. Since 2002, the Seahawks have played their home games at CenturyLink Field, located south of downtown Seattle. The Seahawks previously played home games in the Kingdome (1976–1999) and Husky Stadium (1994, 2000–2001).

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a professional American football team based in Tampa, Florida. The Buccaneers compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference (NFC) South division. The club joined the NFL in 1976 as an expansion team, along with the Seattle Seahawks and was previously part of the AFC West from 1977 to 2001, before switching conferences with the Detroit Lions. During the 2002 season, they played their home games at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

Washington Football Team

The Washington Football Team is the only team in the NFL that has not yet clinched a spot in the playoffs, but they can do so with a win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. If they lose, they will need help from other teams in order to make the playoffs.
