Who Is Returning To WWE?

WWE fans are always wondering who might be returning to the company, and there are always rumors floating around. Let’s take a look at some of the names that have been rumored to be returning to WWE in the near future.

WWE Returns

WWE superstars John Cena, Roman Reigns, and The Rock are all returning to WWE. This is big news for WWE fans who have been waiting for these superstars to return. WWE has been teasing these returns for weeks and it is finally happening.

Goldberg

WWE superstar Goldberg is set to make his return to the ring at WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia on June 7.

Goldberg last wrestled for WWE at WrestleMania 33 in 2017, where he lost to Brock Lesnar. He has since made sporadic appearances on WWE programming, most notably as a guest commentator on Monday Night Raw in 2019.

It is not yet known who Goldberg will be facing at Super ShowDown, but it is rumored that he will be squaring off against “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt.

The Dudley Boyz

The Dudley Boyz, who are more famously known as Team 3D, are returning to WWE. They announced the news on social media, saying that they have signed a multi-year contract with the company. The Dudley Boyz are one of the most decorated tag teams in WWE history, and their return is sure to be a treat for fans of all ages.

Kurt Angle

After a hiatus from WWE, Kurt Angle is returning to the company. He will be appearing on Monday Night Raw.

WWE Departures

The Rock

The Rock is one of WWE’s most iconic figures and he is one of the few who has managed to make a significant mark in both WWE and Hollywood. He has not wrestled for WWE since 2013 but he remains one of the company’s biggest stars. He has made sporadic appearances on WWE programming over the years and is rumoured to be making a return to in-ring action in 2020.

Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar is an American mixed martial artist, professional wrestler, and former amateur wrestler, who is currently signed with WWE. He is the current WWE Universal Champion in his first reign. He is also a former UFC Heavyweight Champion, and is a one-time NCAA Division I Heavyweight Wrestling Champion.

Triple H

In recent years, many WWE superstars have made the decision to leave WWE in order to pursue other opportunities. While some have gone on to have successful careers outside of WWE, others have struggled to find their place in the wrestling world.

One of the most notable recent departures from WWE is Triple H. Triple H is a 14-time WWE World Champion and one of the most decorated wrestlers in history. He is also one of the founders of NXT, WWE’s developmental brand.

In January of 2019, it was announced that Triple H would be taking an indefinite leave of absence from WWE in order to focus on his new role as Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events & Creative for NXT. This was a shocking development, as Triple H had been a key figure in WWE for many years.

As of right now, it is unknown if or when Triple H will return to WWE. He has said that he is committed to his new role with NXT and that his focus is on making NXT a success. Only time will tell if we will ever see Triple H back in a WWE ring.

AJ Styles

AJ Styles, real name Allen Jones, is an American professional wrestler. He is signed to WWE, where he performs on the Raw brand.

Styles was Born on June 2, 1977, in Gainesville, Georgia. He began wrestling at the age of 14 and was trained by Rick Michaels and Jody Hamilton. He made his professional debut in 1998.

Styles worked for various independent promotions early in his career such as NWA Wildside and Ring of Honor (ROH). In 2002, he signed with World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He wrestled there until the promotion was purchased by WWE in 2001. He then worked for WWE’s developmental territories Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) and Memphis Championship Wrestling (MCW) until he was called up to the main roster in 2002.

Styles debuted on the main roster as a member of The World’s Greatest Tag Team with Charlie Haas. The team won the World Tag Team Championship twice before disbanding in 2004. Styles then transitioned to singles competition and went on to win the United States Championship once and the WWE Championship three times. In 2017, he won the Royal Rumble match making him the only man to ever win a world championship in all three major promotions that he has competed for throughout his career – WWE, WCW, and TNA; this accomplishment has been dubbed as “The Triple Crown”.

Samoa Joe

In 2005, Samoa Joe debuted in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), where he quickly became one of the company’s top stars. He held the TNA World Heavyweight Championship for a record-setting 21 weeks and also won the X Division Championship and the Tag Team Championship. Joe left TNA in 2015 and spent time wrestling on the independent circuit before signing with WWE in January of this year.

Since joining WWE, Samoa Joe has quickly made a name for himself, winning the United States Championship and becoming a top contender for the WWE Championship. Samoa Joe is a fierce competitor and one of the most popular Superstars on WWE Raw.

Shinsuke Nakamura

Shinsuke Nakamura is a Japanese professional wrestler and former mixed martial artist currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the SmackDown brand. Nakamura is a two-time WWE United States Champion, a two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion, and a one-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He was also the winner of the 2018 men’s Royal Rumble match. Prior to his main roster debut, Nakamura wrestled as Santiago CaĆ­n in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he became the youngest IWGP Heavyweight Champion in history at age 23
