Tampa Bay Lightning

The Tampa Bay Lightning are a professional ice hockey team based in Tampa, Florida. They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference. The Lightning have one Stanley Cup championship in their history, in 2003–04. The team is often referred to as the Bolts, and the nickname was used on the former third jerseys. The Lightning plays home games in Amalie Arena in Tampa.

Toronto Maple Leafs

There is no clear-cut answer when it comes to the best NHL team in 2022. However, the Toronto Maple Leafs are definitely one of the frontrunners. They have an incredibly strong lineup, with talented players like Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, and John Tavares. They also have a very solid defense, led by captain Morgan Rielly. In 2018-19, the Maple Leafs had the second-best record in the NHL, behind only the Tampa Bay Lightning. They also made it to the playoffs that year, before losing to the Boston Bruins in seven games in the first round.

The Colorado Avalanche are a professional ice hockey team based in Denver, Colorado. They are members of the Central Division of the Western Conference in the National Hockey League (NHL). The Avalanche were founded in Quebec City, Quebec, as the Quebec Nordiques in 1972. The franchise was purchased in 1995 by COMSAT Video Enterprises and relocated to Denver.
