The WWE Women’s Championship is a professional wrestling championship in WWE. It is one of the three main championships for the women in WWE, along with the Raw Women’s Championship and the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Becky Lynch
Becky Lynch is the current WWE Women’s Champion. She is a former SmackDown Women’s Champion and a two-time Raw Women’s Champion. Lynch is also a former NXT Women’s Champion. She is the only woman to have held all three titles simultaneously.

Rebecca Quin, better known by the ring name Becky Lynch, is an Irish professional wrestler. She is signed to WWE and is the current Raw Women’s Champion in her record-tying fourth reign.
Lynch was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. She began practicing judo at age eleven and achieved a black belt by age fourteen.She later began training in mixed martial arts after her interest was sparked by watching fighters such as Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell and Pat Miletich on television. When she learned that professional wrestling was a form of entertainment rather than a competitive sport, she became interested in it and began to train with Paul Tracey.

Becky Lynch is an Irish professional wrestler and actress, currently signed to WWE under the ring name Becky Lynch. She is a former SmackDown Women’s Champion and a two-time Raw Women’s Champion. She is also a Money in the Bank winner.
Lynch began her career on the European independent circuit in June 2002, before making her WWE main roster debut in July 2013. In September 2014, she became the youngest person to ever win a WWE pro-am tournament when she won the Mae Young Classic at the age of 28. In 2015 and 2016, she held both the NXT Women’s Championship and the NXT Tag Team Championship simultaneously. In December 2016, she was drafted as part of the SmackDown Live brand during that year’s WWE draft.
In April 2019, at WrestleMania 35, Lynch won both the Raw and Smackdown Women’s championships in a Winner Take All match, making her a two-time champion and become the first woman in WWE history to hold both titles simultaneously. This made her only the second woman ever (along with Charlotte Flair) to headline WrestleMania.
Personal life
In November 2019, Lynch announced her engagement to fellow WWE wrestler Seth Rollins. They have been in a relationship since early 2019.
Charlotte Flair
Charlotte Flair is the current WWE Women’s Champion. She is a former NXT Women’s Champion and a two-time WWE Divas Champion. Flair is the daughter of Ric Flair, one of the most legendary wrestlers in history. She is a third-generation wrestler and a ten-time Women’s Champion.

Charlotte Flair is the daughter of Ric Flair, who is considered one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. She was born on April 5, 1986, in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has two brothers and a sister. Her father inspired her to become a wrestler.
Charlotte began her professional wrestling career in 2012. She worked for several independent wrestling promotions in the United States before signing with WWE in 2013.
Charlotte won her first WWE Women’s Championship in 2015. She has held the title four times as of 2019.
Professional wrestling career
Charlotte Flair originally signed with WWE in 2012 and was assigned to its developmental brand NXT. After NXT Women’s Champion Paige vacated the title in April 2014, a tournament was scheduled to crown a new champion, which Flair won on June 20, 2014, by defeating Natalya in the finals. This made her the inaugural NXT Women’s Champion and the first former Diva Search contestant to win a WWE championship. After a 296-day reign, she lost the title to Sasha Banks at TakeOver: Respect on October 7, 2015. Promoted to WWE’s main roster in July 2015, Flair debuted at Battleground that month as part of Team PCB (with Paige and Becky Lynch). At Survivor Series that November,Flair helped her team take down Team B.A.D. (Naomi, Tamina Snuka, and Sasha Banks) andTeam Bella (Alicia Fox, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, and Eva Marie).
In January 2017 Flair won her first Royal Rumble match showing herself as one of the top contenders for either world championship at WrestleMania 33. She then went on to compete against Bayley at Elimination Chamber for the Raw Women’s Championship which she lost due to Bayley retaining via pinfall. The following month at Fastlane Flair returned to competition after losing her match against Bayley again resulting in another failed attempt at winning the Raw Women’s Championship. At WrestleMania 33 Charlotte Flair competed in a fatal four-way elimination match also involving Bayley, Banks and Jax which Jax won becoming the new Raw Women’s Champion

Charlotte Flair was born on April 5, 1986, in Charlotte, North Carolina, the daughter of Ric Flair. At thirteen, Fliehr began cheerleading, tasked by her father to “always be smiling”. When Fliehr was a sophomore in high school, she was suspended after striking a teacher who had allegedly grabbed her arm. As a result, she finished high school through an online education system. She then began pursuing a modeling career.

Ronda Rousey is the current WWE Women’s Champion. She is a former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion and Judo Olympic Bronze Medalist. She is also a veteran of Strikeforce, where she was the last Women’s Bantamweight Champion.

Ronda Jean Rousey was born in Riverside, California, on February 1, 1987, the youngest of three daughters of AnnMaria De Mars (née Waddell),[7] who holds a Ph.D. in Applied Psychology,[8] and Ronald Rousey, a retired Judo Olympian and print shop owner. She was raised in Jamestown, North Dakota,[9] before moving to Dayton, Ohio, where she graduated from high school.[10][11] Rousey has an older sister named Maria Burns-Ortiz, who is an MMA amateur fighter;[12][13] an older sister named Jennifer; and a younger sister named Julia.

Rousey was the first American woman to earn an Olympic medal in judo (bronze), which she won at the 2008 Summer Olympics. She is widely considered one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time. In 2015, a biographical film entitled Fight Valley was released.
In May 2012, Rousey fought Sarah Kaufman at Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey. Kaufman had previously defeated Miesha Tate to win the Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Championship; however, Tate was awarded the title after she defeated Holly Holm in March 2012. Rousey won the bout via armbar submission early in the first round, once again displaying her trademark move. This win set up a title fight with Holm, which took place on December 6, 2013 at UFC 168.

In November 2012, it was announced that Rousey had signed a contract with WWE and would be reporting to their developmental branch, NXT.[128] In February 2013, at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, it was announced that Rousey would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2015.[129] In April 2014, Rousey made her in-ring debut at an NXT live event, teaming up with Natalya to defeat Summer Rae and Cameron in a tag team match.[130][131] On the May 29 episode of NXT, she appeared Ringside as a guest coach during a Bra and Panties Match between Paige and Emma,[132] and on the July 24 episode of Main Event, she served as a special referee in another Bra and Panties Match between the same two wrestlers.[133][134]
Rousey made her official wrestling debut on the January 7, 2019 episode of Raw, attacking Becky Lynch after Lynch won a triple threat match to become the WWE Raw Women’s Champion. She then challenged Lynch to a match for the title at WrestleMania 35 on April 7 which Lynch accepted.[135] At WrestleMania 35, Rousey failed to capture the Raw Women’s Championship from Lynch in what was billed as “The Match”, instead losing via submission in just fourteen seconds; this marked her first singles loss since 2011 (as well as her shortest match ever) and only second ever overall (the first being her 2012 fight with Miesha Tate).[136][137][138] Afterwards, Rousey stared down Lynch and Charlotte Flair (who also lost earlier in the night), before leaving both women lying in the ring; this heel turn made Rousey a villainess for the first time since early 2015.[139][140][141] Three nights later on SmackDown Live!, Rousey defeated Flair to win the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship,[142] making her a double champion.

Ronda Jean Rousey was born in Riverside, California, on February 1, 1987, the youngest of three daughters of AnnMaria De Mars (née Waddell), a world champion judoka, and Ron Rousey. She has two older sisters, Maria and Jennifer. Her mother’s ancestry is English with some Scottish Roots while her father is of Dutch descent. She was raised in Jamestown, North Dakota until age eight when the family settled Directory in Santa Monica, California. Rousey attendedSanta Monica High Schoolbefore dropping out. In response to comments that she received over her athletic ability, she stated that “I was called ‘manly’ because I was athletic and because I had really large muscles for a woman… that always bothered me”.
At 13 years old, Rousey began judo with her mother at Gatlinburg-Pittman High School after she told her she was too scrawny. The exercise made her into an athlete who later competed in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens two years later. After she placed second at the 2004 Olympics, she began mixed martial arts (MMA), considering it “a more well-rounded sport”, as it included stand-up striking while still being able to utilize judo takedowns. She was then ranked among ESPN’s top 25 fittest women of 2015 and 2016.
In 2009, after winning 12 MMA fights and losing just one (by DQ for an elbow to solar plexus), Rousey signed with MMA talent manager Darin Harvey of Fight Tribe Management LLC., who then helped sign Rousey with UFC president Dana White.
