The Boston Celtics
The Boston Celtics are scheduled to play the Toronto Raptors in the NBA tonight. The Raptors are one of the best teams in the league, and the Celtics are one of the worst. However, the Celtics have been playing better as of late and they are at home, so they have a chance to win. We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
Kyrie Irving
Kyrie Irving, born March 23, 1992, is an American professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was named NBA Rookie of the Year after being selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft. A six-time NBA All-Star, Irving was named All-NBA Second Team in 2015 and Third Team in 2016. He won an NBA championship with the Cavaliers in 2016.
Irving played college basketball for one year with Duke University before being drafted by Cleveland. He won three gold medals representing the United States as a member of USA Basketball’s youth development programs, including one at the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup and two at FIBA AmeriCup competitions (2011 and 2013).
Gordon Hayward
Gordon Hayward is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for Butler University and was selected by the Utah Jazz with the ninth overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft. He has also played for the Charlotte Hornets and the Hayward joins Kyrie Irving as one of two former Cavaliers on Brad Stevens’ squad.
Al Horford
Al Horford is a Dominican professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He also represents the Dominican Republic national team in international competitions. Horford played college basketball for the University of Florida, and was the starting center on their back-to-back NCAA championship teams in 2006 and 2007. He was drafted with the third overall pick in the 2007 NBA draft by the Atlanta Hawks, and spent his first nine seasons with the Hawks, before signing with the Celtics in 2016.
Horford is a five-time NBA All-Star. He has been named to four All-NBA Teams and three All-Defensive Teams. He won an NBA championship with the Celtics in 2018.
The Cleveland Cavaliers
The Cleveland Cavaliers are scheduled to play the Indiana Pacers in Bankers Life Fieldhouse at 7:00 p.m. EST on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. The Cavs are currently in first place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 51-31, while the Pacers are in seventh place with a record of 41-41.
LeBron James
LeBron James is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is widely considered to be one of the greatest players in NBA history. James played high school basketball at St. Vincent–St. Mary High School in his hometown of Akron, Ohio, where he was highly promoted in the national media as a future NBA superstar. A prep-to-pro, he joined the Cleveland Cavaliers straight out of high school in 2003.
Kevin Love
The Cleveland Cavaliers are an American professional basketball team based in Cleveland, Ohio. The Cavs compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league’s Eastern Conference Central Division. The team began play in 1970 as an expansion team, and has reached the NBA Finals on four occasions, winning the championship in 2016.
One of the team’s standout players is Kevin Love, who is a power forward and has been with the Cavaliers since 2014. Originally from Oregon, Love was drafted fifth overall by the Memphis Grizzlies in 2008 and went on to have a successful career with them before being traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2014. He was then traded to the Cavaliers in a deal that saw Cleveland send Andrew Wiggins to Minnesota.
Love is averaging 17.6 points and 9.8 rebounds per game so far this season, and is one of the key players on the Cavs’ roster. He will be playing against his former team, the Timberwolves, tonight at 8:00 PM EST.

Dwyane Wade is an American professional basketball player for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Wade spent the majority of his 16-season career with the Miami Heat in Miami, where he won three NBA championships. He has also played for the Chicago Bulls and the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Houston Rockets
The Houston Rockets will be playing the New Orleans Pelicans tonight in the NBA. James Harden and Chris Paul will be leading the Rockets while Anthony Davis will be carrying the Pelicans. The Rockets are coming into this game with a four-game losing streak while the Pelicans have won their last four games.
James Harden
Houston Rockets shooting guard James Harden is one of the most explosive scorers in the NBA. Harden is a two-time NBA All-Star and was named the NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2012. He is known for his ability to create his own shot and get to the free throw line.
Chris Paul
Chris Paul (born May 6, 1985) is an American professional basketball player for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He has been ranked as one of the best point guards in the NBA several times, most notably during his tenures with the New Orleans Hornets and Los Angeles Clippers. A nine-time NBA All-Star, Paul is considered by many to be one of the greatest point guards of all time.
In 2008, he won the NBA Rookie of the Year Award, and was named an All-Star and an All-NBA second team member in his first season. The following year, he was named an All-Star and All-NBA first team member. In 2010–11 and 2011–12, Paul was named an All-Star and All-NBA second team member again. In 2012, he was named an All-Star and All-NBA first team member for a third time. He has also been named nine times to both the All-Defensive Team (first team: 2012–13; second team: 2009–10; 2015–16) and the steal leader four times (2008–09; 2010–11; 2011–12; 2012–13), leading the league in steals per game twice (2009–10 and 2011–12).
Clint Capela
Clint Capela (born May 18, 1994) is a Swiss professional basketball player for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played two years of college basketball in the United States for the University of Dayton before being drafted by the Rockets 25th overall in the 2014 NBA draft.
Capela was born in Geneva, Switzerland to parents from the Democratic Republic of Congo. He began playing basketball at age 13, and soon after joined a youth team called Élan Chalon of France’s top professional league. In 2010, he moved to the United States to play high school basketball. After graduating, he spent one year playing at a community college before transferring to Dayton for his final two years of collegiate eligibility.
In his second and final season with Dayton in 2013–14, Capela averaged 11.2 points and 9.8 rebounds per game, and was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Defensive team. He was subsequently drafted by the Houston Rockets with the 25th overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft.
In July 2018, Capela signed a five-year, $90 million contract extension with the Rockets.

He is a six-time NBA All-Star and has been named the NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) twice. Curry is also considered one of the best point guards of all time.
Kevin Durant
Kevin Durant is an American professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is a ten-time NBA All-Star and won back-to-back NBA Championships in 2017 and 2018. He was also named the NBA Finals MVP in both years. Durant has played for the Warriors since 2016.
Klay Thompson
Klay Thompson is an American professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The son of former NBA player Mychal Thompson, he played college basketball for three seasons with the Washington State Cougars, where he was a two-time first-team all-conference selection in the Pac-10. He was selected in the first round of the 2011 NBA draft with the 11th overall pick by the Golden State Warriors, and helped the Warriors win their first NBA championship in 40 years in his rookie season.

Russell Westbrook is an American professional basketball player for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is a nine-time NBA All-Star and an eight-time All-NBA Team member. He is also the 2017 NBA Most Valuable Player and a two-time NBA All-Star Game Most Valuable Player, winning back-to-back honors in 2015 and 2016. He has led the league in scoring three times and ranks third in all-time scoring average among active players.
Paul George
Paul George was born on May 2, 1990, in Palmdale, California. He is an American professional basketball player for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA). George played high school basketball for Knight High School before playing two seasons of college basketball at Fresno State. He was selected by the Indiana Pacers with the 10th overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft. George spent nine years with the Pacers, making five NBA All-Star teams and winning Most Improved Player in 2013. During the 2017 offseason, he was traded to Oklahoma City, where he has since played alongside All-Stars Russell Westbrook and Steven Adams.
In his first season with the Thunder, George averaged 21.9 points per game en route to being named an All-Star starter for the fifth time in his career.The following season, he averaged 28 points per game and led the Thunder to an NBA-best record of 60–22. In 2019,George was named to his sixth All-Star team and earned his fourth All-NBA selection.
Carmelo Anthony
Carmelo Anthony is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Anthony was born on May 29, 1984, in Brooklyn, New York. He played college basketball at Syracuse University before being selected by the Denver Nuggets with the third overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft. Anthony has been a member of 10 NBA All-Star Teams and has won two Olympic gold medals with Team USA.
