Who Was The NFL MVP?
The National Football League Most Valuable Player Award is an annual American football award given by the National Football League (NFL) to a player in the National Football League considered the most valuable to his team.
Tom Brady
In 2010, the National Football League (NFL) Most Valuable Player (MVP) award was given to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. This was the second time Brady had received the honor, having previously been named the NFL MVP in 2007. In 2010, Brady led the Patriots to a 14–2 record and a berth in the AFC Championship game, which they lost to the eventual Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers. For his efforts during the season, Brady was named first-team All-Pro by both the Associated Press (AP) and Sporting News.
Drew Brees
Drew Brees, who plays for the New Orleans Saints, was the NFL MVP in 2019.
Aaron Rodgers
The National Football League Most Valuable Player Award (NFL MVP) is an annual American football award given by various media outlets to the player considered the most valuable in the National Football League (NFL). The winner is selected by a group of 16 voters who choose from among a list of players nominated by sports writers at the end of each regular season. The NFL MVP has been awarded since 1957.
First awarded to broadcaster and former player Jim Brown, the award was originally called the Bert Bell Award. Since 1960, it has been called the Maxwell Club NFL Player of the Year Award. After Bell’s death in 1963, the award was renamed in his honor.[1] It is now presented by the Jim Thorpe Association.[2]
Patrick Mahomes
The National Football League Most Valuable Player Award (NFL MVP) is an annual award given to the player determined to be the most valuable in the National Football League (NFL). The winner receives the Vince Lombardi Trophy. The award was established in 1957 and originally called the Bert Bell Award. It was renamed to honor Vince Lombardi after his sudden death from cancer in September 1970.
The NFL MVP has been awarded 52 times to 24 different players since its inception. Most of these have been quarterbacks, with 27 awards presented to 16 different players; this includes three co-MVPs, all quarterbacks which have won two years in a row, namely Bart Starr (1966, 1967), Terry Bradshaw (1978, 1979), and Peyton Manning (2008, 2009). However, only one quarterback has won consecutive MVP awards: Mahomes became the second two-time winner among quarterbacks after earning co-offensive player of the year honours with Lamar Jackson in 2019.
