Chicago Bulls
Jimmy Butler was born on September 14, 1989, in Houston, Texas. He played college basketball for Tyler Junior College and Marquette University. He was drafted by the Chicago Bulls with the 30th overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft.
Butler quickly became one of the Bulls’ best players and was named an All-Star for the first time in 2014. He was named the NBA Most Improved Player in 2015. In 2016, he helped lead the Bulls to their first playoff appearance since 2010.

Paul George
One of the most talked-about trades in the NBA this offseason was the Oklahoma City Thunder sending Paul George to the Los Angeles Clippers. George was traded for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Danilo Gallinari, and five first-round draft picks. The Clippers also received cash considerations in the deal.

Growing up, George idolized Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, and worked at a local YMCA to improve his game. He played Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball with the team Fresno Flames (under head coach Jerry DeGregorio) in fifth grade.
Oklahoma City Thunder
Paul George was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder on July 1, 2017, after spending seven seasons with the Indiana Pacers. George was drafted by the Pacers with the 10th overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft.
In his seven seasons with the Pacers, George became one of the best two-way players in the NBA. He was named to four All-Star teams and was named All-NBA three times. He was also named Defensive Player of the Year in 2014.
George was traded to the Thunder after telling the Pacers that he planned to become a free agent in 2018 and sign with the Los Angeles Lakers. The Pacers traded him to Oklahoma City for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis.
Carmelo Anthony
The Oklahoma City Thunder have traded Carmelo Anthony to the Atlanta Hawks, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The Hawks will send guard Dennis Schroder and forward Mike Muscala to the Thunder in return for Anthony, per Wojnarowski.
New York Knicks
The New York Knicks are an American professional basketball team based in the borough of Manhattan, in New York City. The Knicks compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference. The team plays its home games at Madison Square Garden, an arena they share with the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League (NHL). They are one of two NBA teams located in New York City; the other is the Brooklyn Nets. Along with the Boston Celtics, the Knicks are one of two original NBA teams still located in its original city.
The team, established by Ned Irish in 1946, was one of the founding members of the Basketball Association of America (BAA), which became the NBA after merging with the rival National Basketball League (NBL) in 1949. The Knicks were successful early on and won two BAA championships in 1950 and 1951. However, they subsequently fell behind in conference standings and failed to make a league Finals appearance for almost 40 years, until reaching one for a second time in 1994 under Pat Riley. During this time, they were known as “theEvil Empire”.
In 1968, under new head coach Red Holzman, led by future Hall of Fame players Walt Frazier and Willis Reed), they won their first Eastern Division titles ever. In 1970 and 1973 respectively, they reached but ultimately lost to championship Finals appearances. In 2002, under head coach Don Chaney, they again became regular-season Eastern Division champions but lost to eventual NBA champion New Jersey Nets 4–2 that year’s Eastern Conference Finals. Their most recent playoff appearance came in 2013 when they lost to Indiana Pacers in Eastern Conference Semifinals.[17] Anthony was traded from Knicks to Oklahoma City Thunder on September 25th 2018
