The NBA 3 Point Contest is an annual event that pits the league’s best shooters against each other. This year’s contest was especially competitive, with some of the best shooters in the league going head to head. So, who won the NBA 3 Point Contest?

Kyrie Irving

Kyrie Irving of the Cleveland Cavaliers won the Three Point Contest during the All-Star weekend. Irving is no stranger to the three point contest, as he won the contest back in 2013. This year, Irving beat out fellow All-Star Stephen Curry in the final round to take home the title.

In a close battle between some of the NBA’s best three-point shooters, Joe Harris of the Brooklyn Nets emerged victorious in the 2019 NBA Three-Point Contest. Harris narrowly beat out defending champion Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns, with both players putting up 20 points in the final round.

Danny Green

The 2019 NBA Three-Point Contest was the 34th edition of the National Basketball Association (NBA) Three-Point Contest, a shooting competition held during the NBA All-Star Weekend. The contest was first introduced in 1986. Danny Green, of the Toronto Raptors, won the contest, defeating Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry in the final round.

Kemba Walker of the Boston Celtics won the 2020 NBA 3 Point Contest. This was his first time in the contest and he beat out some tough competition. He will now compete in the 2020 All-Star game.

The 2020 NBA 3 Point Contest was won by Seth Curry of the Dallas Mavericks. Curry is the brother of Steph Curry, and he has been a very good three-point shooter throughout his career. This was Curry’s first time winning the contest, and he beat out some very good shooters to take home the title.

For the second year in a row, Zach LaVine won the NBA 3 Point Contest. LaVine is a shooting guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves. LaVine beat out Kemba Walker in the final round.

Out of all the players in the league who have attempted at least 200 threes, only Steph Curry and Devin Booker have a higher percentage.

LaVine’s shooting prowess was on full display in the 3 point contest, as he knocked down 28 threes in a row at one point. He ultimately finished with a score of 34, which was good enough to beat out second place finisher Devin Booker by 4 points. With this win, LaVine became just the third player in NBA history to win back-to-back 3 point contests, joining Jason Terry and Craig Hodges. He also joined an elite group of shooters that includes Larry Bird, Reggie Miller, and Steph Curry who have won multiple 3 point contests.
