This was a huge blow to WWE as Raw is one of their most popular shows and has been airing on USA Network since 2005. NBCUniversal cited “economic concerns” as the reason for their decision.
Due to all of these factors—the pandemic, competition from other streaming services , bad publicity—WWE Network did not generate enough revenue and so it was shut down.
