Johnson was a full participant in practice on Tuesday and Wednesday, and head coach Erik Spoelstra said he will make a decision on Johnson’s availability for Thursday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves after consulting with the team’s medical staff.

If Johnson is cleared to play, he will likely see limited minutes as he works his way back into game shape. However, his return would be a boost for a Miami team that has struggled without him. In the 27 games Johnson played before getting injured, he averaged 10.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game
