2019 season

The Whitecaps will begin their 2019 season at home on April 4th against the Beloit Snappers. The full schedule can be found below.

Opening day

The Whitecaps released their 2019 Baseball Schedule today, with the home opener set for April 8th against the Lansing Lugnuts.

Promotions

The Whitecaps have released their 2019 schedule, which is loaded with great promotions!

On Opening Day April 5th, the first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a free Whitecaps baseball card set.

Kids can enjoy FREE general admission to all Sunday home games in 2019, courtesy of Meijer. And on Family Fundays presented by SpartanNash, kids 12 and under eat FREE!

This season, the Whitecaps will host three fireworks nights presented by Bachmanns Party Store and Michigan Lottery.

Home games

The Whitecaps released their 2019 baseball schedule today. The home games are as follows:

The Whitecaps will open the season at home on Thursday, April 4th at 6:35pm against the Dayton Dragons

They will also have home games on:
-Friday, April 5th at 6:35pm
-Saturday, April 6th at 1:05pm
-Sunday, April 7th at 1:05pm
-Monday, April 8th at 10:35am
-Tuesday, April 9th at 10:35am

Away games

The Whitecaps released their 2019 minor League Baseball schedule on Friday, highlighted by 68 away games.
The Whitecaps open the season on the road with a six-game road trip through Lansing and West Michigan, before returning home for their home opener on April 11th against the Fort Wayne TinCaps.
Other highlights include an 11-game road trip in early May and a 10-game homestand in mid-June.
The Whitecaps end the regular season with a six-game road trip through Dayton and South Bend

Interleague play

In 2019, the Whitecaps will play 66 games at home and 70 on the road. The team opens the season with a six-game homestand, beginning with the West Michigan Whitecaps’ home opener against the Dayton Dragons on Thursday, April 4th at 6:35 p.m. The homestand also includes games against the Dragons on Friday, April 5th, Saturday, April 6th and Sunday, April 7th. The Whitecaps then close out the homestand with games against the Fort Wayne TinCaps on Monday, April 8th and Tuesday, April 9th.

All-Star break

The Whitecaps have announced their 2019 Baseball Schedule highlighted by an all-star break from July 5-9. The home opener is scheduled for Saturday, April 6 at 7:05 p.m. against the Beloit Snappers.

The team will play 140 total games, 70 at home and 70 on the road. They will have two 10-game homestands, one in May and one in August, and their longest road trip of the season will be 10 games from June 27 to July 7.

The Whitecaps are scheduled to play seven games against each of their six divisional opponents: the Beloit Snappers, Burlington Bees Cedar Rapids Kernels, Clinton LumberKings, Kane County Cougars and Quad Cities River Bandits. They will also play 40 games against opponents from the Western Division of the Midwest League.

The All-Star break will see the Whitecaps host the 2019 Midwest League All-Star game on Tuesday, July 9 at 7:05 p.m., with a home run Derby preceding the game on Monday evening.

September call-ups

The Whitecaps have announced their 2019 Baseball schedule including September call-ups. The team will open the season on April 4th against the Dayton Dragons, and will finish the season on September 2nd against the Great Lakes Loons The Whitecaps will play 140 games during the regular season 70 of which will be at home.

Postseason

The Whitecaps have released their 2019 Baseball schedule which includes a season game for the first time in team history. The Whitecaps will open the 2019 season at home on April 4th against the Lansing Lugnuts, and will travel to Lansing for the final series of the season from September 3rd-5th. The Whitecaps will host the Lugnuts on Memorial Day May 27th.

Winter ball
