Tournament History
The Wisconsin Dells Baseball Tournament started in 1967 with four teams. The tournament has been held every year since, with the exception of 1973 when it was canceled due to rain. In the early years, the tournament was held at Justamere Park, which is now home to the Dells Dodgers minor League Baseball team. The tournament moved to its current location, Woodside Park, in 1971.
The tournament has undergone several changes over the years. In its early years, it was a double-elimination tournament. The format was changed to a single-elimination format in 1977. The number of teams increased from four to six in 1995, and then to eight teams in 2002.
The Wisconsin Dells Baseball Tournament is one of the premier amateur baseball tournaments in the Midwest. It is sanctioned by the Wisconsin amateur baseball Federation (WABF) and is open to any team affiliated with the WABF.
Sponsors
The Dells Baseball Tournament is sponsored by intrinsic Wisconsin businesses that reflect the great community our state has to offer. Businesses like Miller Lite, Johnsonville Sausage, and Culver’s have teamed up to make this tournament possible.
Without the generosity of these local sponsors, the Dells baseball tournament would not be able to bring in top-notch teams from all over the Midwest or keep ticket prices affordable for families. We are extremely grateful for their support and encourage everyone attending the tournament to patronize these businesses.
Thank you to our 2021 sponsors!
