Bound Brook Baseball has been a community tradition for over 100 years. The game is played every summer on the green in Bound Brook, New Jersey. All are welcome to play or simply watch from the sidelines.
The game is believed to have originated in England, and was brought to the United States by British immigrants. It is unclear when or how the game first came to Bound Brook, but it is clear that it has been a part of the community for many generations.
The game is played between two teams of eleven players each, and typically lasts around two hours. The object of the game is to score more runs than the other team. Runs are scored by hitting a ball with a bat and then running around a series of bases placed at intervals around the perimeter of the playing field.

TheBound Brook Baseball Program is one of the oldest youth baseball programs in New Jersey. The program was founded in 1903 by a group of local business leaders who saw the need for a youth baseball program in the community. The program has been a part of Bound Brook ever since, serving as a source of pride and community spirit.
Bound Brook Baseball has a rich tradition of success, both on and off the field. The program has produced many Major League Baseball players, including Hall of Famer Richie Ashburn. Bound Brook baseball teams have also won numerous state and Regional Championships over the years.
The Bound Brook baseball program is more than just a baseball team it is a community institution. For generations, the program has served as a source of pride and community spirit for the people of Bound Brook.
The Bound Brook Baseball Program
The Bound Brook Baseball Program has been a community tradition since the early 1950’s. The program is currently overseen by the Bound Brook Recreation Commission, and is open to anyBound Brook resident ages 7-16. The program consists of four teams: Rookie (ages 7-8), Minor (ages 9-10), Major (ages11-12), and Senior (ages 13-16). All games are played at the diamonds located at485 East High Street.
Over the years, the Bound Brook baseball program has produced many fine young men who have gone on to successful careers in various fields, including professional baseball Some of the more notable alumni include:
Doug Swisher – Major League catcher
Bobby Jones – Major League pitcher
John Giannotti – NCAA Division I head coach
Steve Widmeyer – Olympic Gold Medalist ( hockey)
Matt Walsh – NBA player
Mike Mazza – Professional golfer
Mark Dalesandro – Professional actor
The Bound Brook Baseball League
The Bound Brook baseball league is a community tradition that has been around for over 50 years. The league is made up of teams from Bound Brook and the surrounding communities. The league is a non-profit organization that is run by volunteers. Bound Brook Baseball is a Summer League that plays its games at Callahan Park.

The Bound Brook baseball club is a community-based organization that has been providing recreational and competitive baseball opportunities for children and adults in the Bound Brook area for over 50 years. The club is one of the largest and most successful youth baseball programs in Somerset County, New Jersey. Our mission is to provide a positive and safe environment for players of all abilities to learn and enjoy the Game of Baseball
We offer a variety of programs for all ages and levels of play, from T-Ball and instructional leagues for younger players, to competitive travel teams for older players. Our programs are open to all residents of Bound Brook and the surrounding communities.
The Bound Brook Baseball Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all of our programs are run by volunteers. We rely on the support of our community to help us keep our programs running.

The Bound Brook Baseball Association
The Bound Brook Baseball Association is a community-based organization that has been providing opportunities for Bound Brook residents to play baseball since 1949. The Association is run by a Board of Directors made up of Bound Brook residents who are committed to the betterment of the community through the sport of baseball. The Board of Directors is responsible for the overall operation of the Association, including its financial stability, fundraising efforts, and compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.
The Bound Brook Baseball Camp
The Bound Brook Baseball Camp is a beloved community tradition that has been enjoyed by generations of families. The camp provides an opportunity for kids to learn the game of baseball and improve their skills, while alsohaving fun and bonding with others. The camp is open to all kids ages 5-12, and provides a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
The Bound Brook Baseball Tournament
The Bound Brook Baseball Tournament is a community tradition that dates back to the early 1900s. For over 100 years, the tournament has been held annually in Bound Brook, NJ. The tournament is open to any team from any league and is divided into four divisions: Major, Minor, Intermediate, and Junior. Each division has its own set of rules and regulations.
The tournament is a double-elimination style tournament. Each team is guaranteed to play at least two games. The teams that make it to the semifinals in each division will play a best-of-three series. The winners of each semifinal series will then advance to the Championship game which is a best-of-five series.
The Bound Brook Baseball Tournament is a great way for teams to come together and compete against each other. It is also a great opportunity for teams to bond and create lasting memories.
The Bound Brook Baseball Academy
The Bound Brook Baseball Academy is a community-based, not-for-profit organization that has been teaching the sport of baseball to Boys and Girls in the Bound Brook area for over 50 years. The Academy provides a recreational outlet for local youth and promotes values such as teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
The Bound Brook Baseball Team
The Bound Brook Baseball Team has been a community tradition for over 100 years. The team is a founding member of the Independent league, and has been a perennial powerhouse in the league, winning the championship in 9 out of the last 10 years. The team is also a 2-time winner of the World Series winning in 2006 and 2007.
