Juniata Baseball Releases 2019 Schedule

The 2019 Juniata college baseball schedule has been announced. The Eagles will play 34 games, including 16 at home.

Introduction

The 2019 Juniata baseball schedule has been announced. The team will play their home games at the newly renovated Sepic field located on campus. The season will begin on February 22 nd with a game against Shenandoah University and will conclude on May 12 th with the final game of the Landmark conference tournament

Non-Conference Schedule

The Juniata baseball team released its 2019 schedule, which features games against some of the top non-conference teams in the country. The Eagles will open their season with a three-game series against Randolph-Macon on Feb. 15-17. Juniata will then travel to Winter Park, Fla. for a week-long trip that includes games against nationally ranked Trinity (Texas) and SUNY Cortland.

Conference Schedule

The Juniata College men’s Baseball Team will take on Landmark Conference foes in 13 different doubleheaders during the 2019 regular season the conference office announced when it released the full schedule Monday afternoon.

The Eagles open their 2019 season campaign on Saturday, March 2 with a doubleheader against Hood College. The first game of the twinbill is set to begin at noon at Hood’s baseball field in Frederick, Md.

Key Conference Games

The Juniata baseball team has released its 2019 schedule, which features key conference games against Elizabethtown, Moravian, and Gettysburg.

The Eagles will open the season with a three-game series against Albright on February 22-24. Juniata will then host Elizabethtown on March 2 before embarking on a four-game road trip to Virginia Wesleyan (March 8-10) and Ferrum (March 12).

After that, they will take on Alvernia in a three game home series. Alvernia is coming off of a tough loss in the conference championship last season, so they will be looking to prove themselves early on. The games will be played on Friday, March 1st, Saturday the 2nd, and Sunday the 3rd.

Easiest Games

The JV and Varsity schedule for 2019 has been released. The schedule features some of the easiest games of the season in the beginning, which will help the team get adjusted to the new season.

Conclusion

The Eagles will play a total of 36 games, 20 of which will be at home in Beautiful Juniata Valley. They will open up their season on the road against Patrick Henry on February 22nd and will have their home opener against Eastern Mennonite on March 12th.
