The Team

spring training is underway and the Texas Tech baseball team has been hard at work preparing for the upcoming season The team is coming off a successful 2018 campaign in which they finished 38-19 and made an appearance in the NCAA tournament Head Coach Tim Tadlock enters his seventh season at the helm of the Red Raiders and he will be looking to lead the team to their fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance.

The Red Raiders will be led by a core group of experienced players, including seniors Josh Jung and Dylan Dusek, junior Parker Scott, and sophomores Braxton Fulford and Jace Jung. This group will be looking to build on their success from last season and help Texas Tech make a deep run in the NCAA tournament

The Fans

Welcome to the The Official Texas Tech baseball Forum! This is the place for fans of the Texas Tech Red Raiders Baseball Team to discuss the team, share stories and memories, and connect with other fans.

The Schedule

The Red Raiders will open the season on the road against Indiana on February 14. The first Home game of the season will be against New Mexico on February 21.
The Conference Schedule has not been released yet, but it is expected to be announced in early December.
Texas Tech’s full schedule will be released at a later date.

The History

Texas Tech University has a long and storied history when it comes to baseball. The team has been in existence since the late 1800s and has been a mainstay in the college ranks ever since. In that time, the team has won multiple conference championships and made multiple trips to the NCAA tournament

The program really made a name for itself in the 1970s under head coach Cliff Gustafson. In his tenure, Gustafson led the team to nine conference championships and four trips to the College World Series The team also had some of its best seasons under his watch, including a pair of trips to the final four of the NCAA tournament in 1974 and 1975.

In recent years the team has continued to be a force in college baseball They have made three straight trips to the NCAA Tournament and have won two conference titles in that span. The team is also regularly ranked in the top 25 of both major polls.

The Tradition

Texas Tech Baseball has a long and proud tradition. Founded in 1923, the program has been a staple of Red Raider athletics ever since. The team has won 5 conference championships and made 8 NCAA Tournament appearances, including a trip to the College World Series in 2014.

The future looks bright for Texas Tech baseball The team is young and has a lot of potential. The Coaching Staff is doing a great job of recruiting and development. Texas Tech Baseball is on the rise and will be a force to be reckoned with in the years to come.
