Another player to watch is outfielder Tanner Morris. A junior from Virginia, Morris was named first-team All-ACC in 2018 after hitting .308 with eight home runs and 37 RBIs. He is a dynamic player who can make things happen on both Offense and defense
Pitcher Andrew Abbott is another player worth watching. A senior from Maryland, Abbott was named second-team All-ACC in 2018 after going 9-3 with a 3.51 ERA. He is a crafty left-handed pitcher who uses his 6’3″ frame to his advantage.

Though the University of Virginia (UVA) Cavaliers lost in the 2019 College World Series they boast an impressive baseball history The team has been to the NCAA tournament 33 times, including 16 times in the last 20 years. They have won 14 conference championships and five ACC tournament titles. Most notably, they won the National Championship in 2015.
The Cavaliers have produced many Major League Baseball (MLB) players, including Mark McLemore, Brandon Guyer, Matt Thaiss, and Nate Freiman.
