The Ohio State Hockey Schedule is Here! The long-awaited schedule for the 2017-2018 season has finally been released, and it looks like the Buckeyes have a tough road ahead of them. Some of the key games include:

-October 6th vs Michigan State
-November 10th vs Notre Dame
-December 2nd vs Penn State
-February 16th vs Michigan

A Quick Overview of the Schedule

The Ohio State hockey schedule is finally here and we couldn’t be more excited! Here’s a quick overview of what to expect this season:

-There are a total of 32 games in the regular season
-18 of those games will be at home in the Value City Arena
-14 of the games will be against Big Ten opponents
-The Buckeyes will face off against conference foes Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State a total of 8 times each
-Non-conference opponents include Bowling Green Ferris State Lake Superior State Miami (OH), Notre Dame Robert Morris St. Lawrence, Union, and Western Michigan
-The first game of the season is on October 6th at home against Alaska Anchorage The game starts at 7:05pm EST.

The Road Games to Keep an Eye On

Now that the schedule has been released, we can take a look at which games will be the most important for the Buckeyes this season. Here are five road games to keep an eye on:

1. Oct. 27 at Michigan – The first of two meetings between these in-state rivals. Both teams will be looking to start the season off on the right foot and set the tone for the rest of the year.

2. Nov. 17 at Notre Dame – The Buckeyes will travel to South Bend to take on the Fighting Irish in what should be a tough test. Notre Dame is always a tough place to play and this will be a good early season measuring stick for Ohio State

3. Dec. 8 at Michigan State – The Spartans are always one of the best teams in the country, and this will be a tough road game for the Buckeyes. Michigan State always has a strong home-ice advantage, so Ohio State will need to be at its best to come away with a win.

4. Jan. 5 at Penn State – Another tough road game, this time against a Penn State team that is always improving andgetting better each year. The Nittany Lions will be looking to take another step forward this season and could give Ohio State fits if they’re not careful.

5 .Feb .16 at Wisconsin – The final meeting of the season between these two traditional powerhouses. Wisconsin is always one ofthe toughest places to play in college hockey and Ohio State will need to be up for the challenge if they wantto come away with a win .

The Ohio State Buckeyes vs. The Michigan Wolverines

The highly anticipated college hockey schedule has finally been released, and Buckeye fans will be happy to see that their team will be taking on the Wolverines early in the season.

The game will take place on Saturday, November 17th at 7pm at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, OH. This will be the first time these two teams have met since 2015, when Ohio State won 3-2 in a thrilling overtime victory.

Michigan is currently ranked #5 in the nation, while Ohio State is unranked. However, the Buckeyes have been known to pull off upsets against ranked opponents, so this game is sure to be an exciting one.
