TheBadgers are one of the most tradition-rich programs in all of college hockey with 22 NCAA Division I titles, the second-most of any team in the nation.

This season, under new Head Coach Tony Granato, the Badgers are looking to add to their legacy.

Granato, a former NHL All-Star and head coach was hired in 2016 to replace Mike Eaves, who was let go after 14 seasons.

Granato has put together a strong Coaching Staff including assistant coaches Garrett Suter and Mark Osiecki.

Suter, a former defenseman for the University of Wisconsin, was an Assistant Coach for the Badgers from 2010 to 2016 before taking a job with the NHL’s Nashville Predators He rejoined the Badgers this season.

Osiecki, who played for the Badgers from 1983 to 1987, has been an assistant coach at Wisconsin since 2002. He also has experience coaching in the United States Hockey League and in Europe.
