They must also be able to sell the program to prospective players and their families.

Assistant coaches must also develop a strong relationship with the Head coach This includes being able to communicate effectively, being loyal to the head coach’s decisions, and working hard to help the team succeed.

Finally, Assistant coaches must have a strong understanding of the game of basketball They need to know offensive and defensive strategies, as well as how to effectively teach these strategies to players.
