The Coaches

John “Jack” Kelley took over the reins in 1966 and led the team to their first NCAA Division III tournament appearance in 1968. Kelley coached at Endicott for 18 seasons, compiling a record of 324-127-9. He is a member of both the Massachusetts Hockey Hall of Fame and the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame

In 1984, Bill O’Neill took over as Head Coach and led Endicott to 19 consecutive winning seasons and 12 conference championships. O’Neill retired in 2002 with a career record of 351-113-32, making him the winningest coach in Endicott history.

Ed Mantyla (2002-present) has continued the tradition of success started by Kelley and O’Neill, leading the Gulls to seven conference championships and six NCAA tournament appearances in his17 seasons at the helm.
