Players in the National Hockey League have achieved a lot of great things on the ice. One thing that NHL players can claim is the record for most shots in a game.

There have been a few players who have reached this prestigious feat, and they are as follows:

These five men are the only ones in NHL history to reach at least 10 shots in a game, with Brett Hull having the record for most shots with 12.

What the record holders achieved

In the National Hockey League a single game can have a huge impact on a team’s season. For example, in the 2012-2013 NHL season the Chicago Blackhawks set a new record for most shots in a game with 83. The previous record was held by the San Jose Sharks who managed 82 shots in a game against the Phoenix Coyotes.

5. Norm Ullman – 5 Assists Ullman rounds out the list of players with at least five assists in a single game; he did it three times over his career, including once during the 1968-69 season when he was just 22 years old.

How many points were scored by the player

In the National Hockey League the record for the most goals in a single game is held by Joe Malone, who scored seven goals for the Montreal Canadiens against the Toronto St. Pats on January 31, 1920.

Malone’s record-breaking performance came in just the sixth game of his NHL career and it remains one of the most impressive individual offensive displays in league history.
