Outfielders
The outfield is composed of three players positioned in left, center, and right field. Outfielders are the farthest defenders from home plate and are responsible for stopping anything that gets past the infielders.

The Amherst varsity baseball team is made up of 23 members. Of those 23, 11 are returnees from last year’s rosters. The team is captained by seniors Jack Goldberg and Ben Johnson
