The Art U Basketball team is heading to the National Tournament after a thrilling win in the conference championship game. This is the first time in school history that the team has qualified for the tournament.

The team will head to the tournament as the fourth seed in their region. They will first play against New Mexico State on Thursday, March 15. If they win that game, they will play against either Kentucky or Wichita State on Saturday, March 17.

The team has been on a roll lately, winning eight of their last nine games. They are led by senior guard Artemus Mitchell, who was named the conference Player of the Year. Mitchell is averaging 19 points per game and has hit some Big Shots in clutch moments this season.

The team is confident heading into the tournament and is looking to make a deep run.
